I'd love to see a Halo manga, it'd be interesting to see the transition plus I can only imagine the intense action sequences. Go for it! I hope it turns out great. Funnily enough I always thought of doing a Halo manga myself, guess I've been beaten to the punch ;)

Not a Manga, try making a real comic.
I assume this project would be created with game screencaps? So, what would make it a manga, aside from the panels going right-to-left?
If you want to make a comic, make a COMIC.
